Father Silouan67 catechumens in Kayupo, Kiamba Saranggani Province, were baptized into the Orthodox Church today by Fr Ephraim Kalinin, a hieromonk from Tuva Republic. Fr Ephraim visited the Philippines on a month-long mission trip, lecturing and serving the Liturgy all across our mission area in southern Mindanao.
Fr Silouan was to have been there as well, but was called away to serve a funeral. We are grateful that Fr Ephraim was here so both sacraments could happen!
