An article at Pravmir today reports on progress at the Church of Saint Thomas in Kinabalan, Sarangani province.
The Construction of a Russian Church in Honor of the Apostle Thomas Resumed in Philippines
The current chapel at Kinabalan, with its dirt floor, is too small to fit most of the people who attend, so they crowd outside, and the wooden posts that hold up the roof are being destroyed by termites.
Thanks to support from Metropolitan Pavel, Bishop of Manila and generous gifts from mission partners in Russia – and thanks to many of you! – now that Covid travel bans have been relaxed, construction is resuming at Kinabalan.
Any donations designated for construction will be set aside for this project. Thank you for your continuing prayers and support!
