Celebration of the Dormition of the Mother of God in the Philippine Diocese

The Church year begins with the Nativity of the Mother of God, and ends with her Dormition. Despite the continuing COVID lockdown, the parishes of the Philippine Diocese celebrated the Dormition of the Mother of God. At the tiny chapel of Banate it was their patronal feast, celebrated by fr Cornily wih a vigil, Divine Liturgy, and baptism. Click photos to embiggen!
