Father SilouanToday in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, Filipino deacon Romanos Buniel was ordained to the priesthood by Metropolitan Paul, the Orthodox Bishop of Manila and Hanoi.
Father Romanos begins serving his forty days of Divine Liturgies in Russia, after which he will return to the Philippines, where he serves the church of St Nicholas in Kayupo, our sister church of St John of Shanghai in Kiamba, and missions in the region of Sarangani and Sultan Kudarat.
