Father SilouanToday on the Feast of Sts Peter and Paul, Father Silouan served the first Divine Liturgy in the newly-built church of Santa Elena – Saint Helen – at Little Baguio, Arakan, Cotobato.
The community lives far from paved roads, and materials to build this church had to be brought in at great effort. But, through the generosity of a benefactor and the labor of community members, the building is complete and the Orthodox community of Santa Elena are justifiably proud of their new temple!
in God’s Grace I pray that one day an Orthodox Church will also be establish here in our place in Kidapawan City…
There is a house church now in Kidapawan. I served tge Liturgy there on Sunday, July 9.
I do not yet know the exact date, but I will surely come again to serve the Liturgy in August.

I am not sure … I just get off the bus at Kidapawan and ride someone’s motorcycle :-)
