Father SilouanHere is some very happy news from our Antiochian colleague, Fr Methodios Carlos Rafanan:
“We are about to start a men’s monastery in Northern Luzon. We are building now a convent. Later a big chapel. Then individual cottage for future monks.”
He adds: “The chapel is being built now. We have an altar, icons printed on tarpaulin, tabernacle, candelabrum, beautiful set of chalice and paten, censer, and many others. Soon we will receive books from US bookstore.”
Construction is in progress at the monastery site in Mangaldan, Pangasinan.
