Thus Sunday, June 29/July 12, the Mission of Saints Peter and Paul at San Pedro, Kiblawan celebrated its first patronal feast. Visiting missionaries from Russia were on hand, and nearly the whole parish of St John Maximovitch traveled from Santa Maria to Kiblawan to join the feast.

The Liturgy began with the baptism of baby Sarah, as this was her 40th day. Many members prepared through Confession and received Holy Communion.

The mission community is still searching for a plot of land on which to build a chapel; it needs to be within walking distance of Barangay San Pedro, since there is no public transportation so far out in the provinces. In the mean time, the Liturgy is served regularly under a tent.
